    The funny part is, at one point in time some geniuses thought it would be a great idea to outlaw the practice.

    As a person who seems to have a keg blow right when they order something a lot, I don't know about this. I'd feel bad getting a growler of something special at a place knowing others might not get to try it. Or if I'm getting a growler of something commonplace, most likely I could get it from a bottle shop for cheaper. However, if this creates more demand for special brews and more frequent tap changes it's probably a good thing.

    I believe that it would create quicker tap changes. I've been to Ashley's several times knowing they have a certain beer waiting to be tapped. Only to be told by the staff that they are waiting for something else to blow first.

    Ask Ashley's why they were slow. My local did it as soon as in effect, a couple months back IIRC.
