    Big fan of Allagash, Great Divide, and Stone. The rest? Haven't heard of or don't think they're on par with the three I just mentioned.

    JP makes some great beers, but some of them are one-offs, hence very few reviews.

    The top 250 is like little league tee ball under the new algorithm. Everyone gets a chance, everyone gets a trophy for participating, truly amazing beers are pushed off the list, Kaggen! is put away because it causes too much butthurt.

    Capri suns and pats on the backs for all the offshelf tickers.

    What I like about this list is that many of the beers are widely distributed. Many of us BA's are a little jaded. But for the newbie, uninitiated or just a little curious, this list might actually set them going in the right direction.

    The title isn't exactly accurate, but there are definitely worse lists.
