Another Top 5... Belgians?

    my top 5 favorite belgian beers:

    (in no particular order)
    Pannepot
    Westvleteren 12
    St Bernardus abt 12
    Seef
    Chimay Blue

    these (aside from the Westvleteren) are beers that I drink on a weekly basis. T

    I know I will probably get shit for tossing Seef into that mix but I just love that it is so drinkable. Light and tasty and great in the afternoon while mowing the lawn.

    All good mentions but one that I do like (although $$$) is Brouwerij Sterkens St. Sebastian offerings...I love the packaging and the beer inside is pretty good also.

    For what it's worth, we in the U.S. get many of Belgium's best and most of it travels well (except maybe the IPAs). Certainly not all of the great beers are available here, though, and that's particularly no consolation for people who enjoy lambics.

    Just had me some 3 philosophers this weekend again, man that one has really grown on me over time. I also love Tripel Karmeliet. Too many good ones to have just a top 5 list.
