Hey all, Really interested in trying to acquire a single bottle of either of these, but I have no idea the size of the bottling run, whether Kane intends to brew them again, and any number of other factors that I imagine would help determine trade value, so I'm a little leery to throw up a FT:ISO sight-unseen. Any Mid-Atlantic folks or other knowledgeable BAs want to help me gauge my odds?
I believe the bottle counts on those were 600 each, and people could get 6 bottles at release. However, it was a well attended release and many were shutout. Both are fantastic but Cacao was my favorite of them all. Limited brewery only releases are going to be what it takes. Perhaps harder to get Lambic (Cantillon or 3F) as well. Well worth going after though. Good luck!
I am not sure why, but Vanilla is the hardest one to get and the weakest variant of the bunch. Go figure.
I really liked the Vanilla, but YMMV It's likely the most sought-after because it garnered rave reviews after EBF, which of course had attendees from all over, not just limited to people from around here who somewhat know about Kane/ANTEAD
Spot on, at least for me. Had it at EBF, thought it was bonkers, and now I'm increasingly interested in either a) getting more or b) getting one of the others.
Naturally. I really liked it too, but found it to have the weakest adjunct of all the variants. All my opinion, of course. I'd take the regular, cacao or coffee any day over the vanilla.
