Any Abraxas left in Chicago?

Yeah so far it seems to have been super limited distribution to the Binny's that had the event and a few small shops which are probably already sold out. Saw a bottle in the picture that the Beer Temple tweeted the other day. Try them.

 

Pretty sure it is all gone at the Beer Temple - you could try calling South Loop Binnys and see what they say. The Downers Grove Binnys guy said that Chicago only got 15 cases because Perennial can't move their year-round releases here. Take that for whatever it is worth. If you brought anything to trade, everyone at the LP Binny's got two bottles each so you could try an IP setup. Cheers and good luck!

Also not true, a couple people only bought one bottle to try and make sure those at the end of the line were able to get some, which is awesome and makes my heart sing.

 

I know Capones and Beer Temple got it in Friday, but it is likely gone by now.

 

Sorry Vav, just reporting what the Binnys guy tweeted out! As I said take it for whatever it is worth (which is apparently nothing at all!). Thanks for confirming the opposite.

Try Milk & More at 702 W. Diversey. Abraxas was a shelf turd here for over two months after distribution of last year's batch. Very surprised to see the overwhelming response to obtaining non-BA Abraxas this year wherever it has been released.

 

Since I don't plan on going and grabbing another bottle tomorrow after all, West Lakeview Liquors has it now. You're welcome.

 

Steve, you're a cool dude so hopefully I didn't spoil it for us and I'll try for you in the am and then next time you're down this way we'll figure something out for another IP. Fingers crossed.
