I shipped a box that was supposed to be delivered to someone in El Cajon, but I think it may have instead gone to a VERY similar street address in Chula Vista since that is the last location referenced on the tracking details AND where it said it was delivered. I have an open investigation with UPS, but of course they are not cooperating/communicating... Any friendly Chula Vista BAs out there that would be willing to swing by a random house to build their beer karma?? If so...BM me for more info.
I doubt that a lot of people here would be willing to do that for you before they see that address. Chula Vista has its...neighborhoods...
Yeah, that's about a 20-year old reference. Did you ever hear of something called "Eastlake"? Like I said the address is essential here.
Oh please. I grew up in Chula Vista. There's nothing dangerous about it. It's America's Most Boring City for a reason: nothing happens there, good or bad. If no one who actually lives in CV has responded, BM me. It's my day off, but I'm perfectly fine taking a break from relaxing to drive a couple miles and do a good deed. Edit: Eastlake is even more boring, generic, and further away. I'd much rather go to old CV.
I would agree with that as well. LA Douchebag from LA believes an ill-informed ratings list too much. Chula Vista is safer than anyplace in LA or even OC that has an average income below 6 digits.
Ha...no, not quite...although I prob wouldn't mind giving a knuckle sandwich to a ups customer service rep or two...
Good thing you're giving them a Knuckle Sandwich, because if you offered anything else that box may just end up at the wrong location after all.
I was thinking more the opposite, "I think I'd rather get punched in the face than be given a knuckle sandwich. That beer has more batch variation than White Chocolate (too soon?)".
