I got a buddy going to Dubuque in early November and he's willing to do a little beer shopping for me. What is/are the best craft beer shops in town? Thanks for the help
Family Beer in East Dubuque is your best bet. Short drive from Dubuque. Or have him hit up Jubeck and get a growler. I haven't been to Jubeck yet but I've heard good things. Caveat: I'm not from Dubuque, just have family there and am usually there a handful of times a year.
The thing Dubuque has going for it that it is on the border of Illinois and Wisconsin. Family Beer, in east Dubuque, Illinois, has the best selection in the area. Van's in east Dubuque also has some gems from time to time. Hyvee on Dodge or asbury usually has the best selection in Dubuque (TG, Surly). Also, Wisconsin is a short drive too. The kieler store in dickeyeville usually has the best selection of NG and other Wisconsin stuff. Let me know if you are looking for anything specific.

I second Jubeck, I was back home visiting family recently and was suprised how well everything was done. Toppling Goliath can be gotten at the HyVee's in town but watch out for the dates on them, some can sit around for awhile. Other than that the other posters have covered it.
Sosus and King Sue won't happen unfortunately, and like Gerberr mentioned check bottle dates on the rest.
