Picked up a Palo Santo Marron to drink today and realized again how much I enjoy the unique spice flavor of this wood. I can't describe what spice the wood even reminds me of, but it's certainly exotic and.....nice. Palo Santo Marron is the only beer I've ever seen that uses it. Any other beers aged on it out there? If so, does it work well in that beer?

Wow, looks pretty nice. I'd be interested to try something more drinkable, like this brew. 6.9% can definitely fall into that category, especially compared to Palo Santo Marrone's 12%.

Good enough that I'm kinda regretting not making a thread for amburana wood. For the price, that was a top tier beer, IMO.

They used amburana wood for that one. I've seen that wood around a couple of other times. Against the grain has done a number of amburana wood beers
