Id really like to try Bramble but at this stage in my early beer trading career I have no trade bait. :slight_frown: Is there anything similar out there that I should try? Ive got all the CCB shelves and locals to FL. Im making a stop at CCB in a couple weeks as well, not sure what will be available then though.

Olde Hickory Lindley Park is as good, if not better than Bramble. Plus it is made yearly, well has been made the past two years. Other limited releases should get it done, but it's probably a little easier to acquire than Bramble ATP.

Wouldn't a Huna plus limited locals trade for a bramble? I know we've seen cherry trade for Huna and bramble is currently similar in value to cherry, no? I may be off, but I think if he's got a Huna and can possibly get some more limited FL locals it's possible.

No more Hunas. A couple buddies still have a few that Ive been trying to get. I saw Huna's going for Cherrys but I had no interest. I thought Bramble was harder to come by.

It may be a bit harder, but I was seeing posts saying the values were similar. Again, I may be wrong, but I'd assume that since bramble fresh wasnt great, the value is barely rising now that's its drinking nicely. I really want a bramble to go along with my cherry.

Hell, maybe I can find a generous BA willing to take a bucket load of CCB for one

I think LP is better than Bramble as well. I'd go for that one.

I agree there. Had my first Lindley last month and made it a top priority to go get 2x in my next trade for it... Gotta have it. Bramble is awesome and improving from what I hear lately... If I had one I'd trade it to you for some good CCB or Due south etc.

As others have said, Lindley Park is not only better, but probably easier to get than Bramble. I think any perceived improvement in Bramble as it ages is just from the fruit character that made it Bramble fading, and the beer regressing towards tasting like standard BCBS.

From what I know, wait until the next CCB barrel aged whatever gets released. Then, put together an offer for Bramble. You'll be able to get it if you have access to CCB releases that aren't widely distributed, I guarantee it, especially if you go over in $4$.

IMO, Bramble is worth it. It's an awesome, unique, beer that is a must for any raspberry/blackberry fan. And it's just getting better and better as time goes by.

Pretty sure Lindley is only distributed in NC, and usually sells out within a couple weeks. However, I know of people who are able to get cases of the stuff, as Bestway (one place that gets a bunch of it), limits it to like 6 bottles a person. If I wasn't down to my last bottle I would definitely try and hook you up. Best of luck!

You are correct but she's road tripping with her friend and will probably make their way into NC at some point. Ive her looking for Shane's DIPA and any COAST stuff she comes across as well.

Opened bramble again last night and man is that an awful beer. I wish I could say it's getting better but it's not.

Do you just not like the style? Or is it degrading?
