SSIA. I was wondering if there are any breweries located in the suburban sprawl. I was thinking potentially Two Brothers - it's not conveniently on the way, but not that far off.

You could get to both Imperial Oak and Buckledown without going too far out of your way.

If you're looking for some bottles, I'd also recommend Archer Liquors just a bit west of Midway. It's doesn't look like much, but they consistently have a nice selection of local beers to choose from.

    Buckledown Brewing
Imperial Oak (a little south of Midway, but not to far out of the way if you are taking 55 to 294)
    Urban Legend
    Lunar Brewing
    Church Street

Also 5 Rabbit is really close to Midway, just south of it. I think they are only open Thurs-Sat though, and they don't have long hours.

I second Church Street. Limited days and hours though.

another idea for bottles would be the Binny's in Downers Grove. Enormous selection of local and out of sate/country beers. If you find yourself on I-355, it's right at the exit for IL-56 by the Home Depot.

Wow I am really out of the loop. I haven't heard of Buckledown OR Imperial Oak until now.

they're both relatively new. Imperial Oak more so than Buckledown, but both just opened their doors this year I believe.
