Any craft beer in the Galena area?

    Heading up to Galena this Wednesday with a couple of buddies. Looking for some good places for craft beer on tap as well as to buy and take back to our place. Any suggestions?

    And you can always cross the nearby Wisconsin border for shopping purposes, though I didn't find any actual liquor stores the time I did so. Still managed to get a fair bit of New Glarus from grocery stores and gas stations.

    Definitely go to Galena Brewery. Their hefeweizen (the name slips my mind) is great. I had it fresh from their fermentation tank a few years ago... very tasty.

    Galena brewery is a good option. Grape Escape across the street also has several good options on tap at all times. Head to Paradise for a Potosi Snake Hollow IPA.
