Rumblings are that they couldn't secure the hop contracts to do their run this year, and are focusing on a bomber of a barleywine and doing a Wild sumpin'???

Sorry if this is redundant, I couldn't find anything clear today. One of my coworkers brought it up and I figured i would investigate.

If its true, thats bad news because that was a pretty damn good IPA.

I read something, here, the other day. I'll see if I can find the link. It wasn't definitive news, but it was a good conversation about it.

According to a thread in the NW forum, it isn't coming out this year.

Start producing it later this year, and will test it year round first in San Diego and start expanding from there. Midwest probably wont see it until mid-next year.

Last word was Sucks in NorCal later in the year (after October) and DayTime in SoCal around the same time. Once Chicago opens, they hope to release both outside of these test-markets.

Yeah I'll just have to keep my eyes open for Sucks instead.

Just spotted a DayTime 6 pack yesterday in SF (in a guy's hands and I did not ask where he bought it).

They are brewing or just brewed the Brown Shugga (from a photo they posted with all the sacks of brown sugar in the foreground).

And supposedly they can brew Sucks again once the new hop contracts are delivered but that means it may not hit distribution till December (some kegs, some 6ers, and Quarts in selected markets - from reading a big old Sucks thread here on BA - and confirmed on their website).n select markets)

DayTime is all over San Diego. Had it this weekend, in fact.

I'm on the hunt today. Where abouts in SF did you see said this Daytime person? I'm starting to think it is somewhere in the city. No way would someone be shipping that from SoCal.

I was outside Slim's on 11th Street in SoMa, it seemed like the guy worked at Slim's but he was with dudes with a truck out front, so could have been part of the talent or the cleaning up after Hardly Strictly Bluegrass crew (which the Slim's family helps run).

Been in the Phx area for almost a month now, and at 5.99 per six pack I'll be sad to see it go, its one of the tastiest "easy-drinking" beers ive had

i purchased a case of 24 for ~$25 from Total Wine in Tucson, AZ a few weeks ago. possibly the best $25 i have ever spent.

as for distribution, the website said it's a "super limited" release this year so it might not have made it to the east but it should definitely be in CA. it's supposed to be a full time beer next year with the new brewhouse opening. this is great news, as DayTime is the best beer they make in my opinion. the aroma is amazing and the price is the best on the market.
