I did a quick search and didn't get any hits on here, or much elsewhere on the web either. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with Concord Cookware kettles.

They seem to be of good quality, with a 1 mm thickness, and the prices are great.

I currently have my eyes on this DIY kit, kettle with valve and thermometer, the 15 gallon is $150.

    Where's the $20 step drill bit?!

I saw a video about a month ago. These guys shot the spigot with some sort of rifle to prove their welding skills. I'd like for someone to tell me that these guys AREN'T the Maglite of brew kettles.

What's interesting is they sell, or at least use to sell, kettles that came pre-drilled with two holes in them and they were essentially the same price as the regular (no holes) kettles. Kind of strange that those aren't the kettles included in the DIY kit. I may message them and see if they could do a custom swap out for me on the kettles.

I'm also looking at just getting a regular kettle from them, no valve or thermometer. They have a 12.5 gallon for ~$75 and a 15 gallon for ~$90.

I assume you mean, "anymore." As I have a 10 gallon kettle of yours with "Concord 40QT" etched/printed into the side.
