Any Flipside, Narwal, or Anchor Big Leaf Maple around NJ

This years Narwal out already?

 

Narwhal isn't out yet, it's a September release though so probably a week or so away from distribution, Tumbler is already done for the year so Flipside should be in stores soon.

Big Leaf Maple has been out of stock thus far, again should be around soon.

 

Big Leaf Maple is on the shelves in central NJ - via Hub City distributor (Mercer and Burlington counties, according to Anchor's website). Bought a six early last week.

Like Anchor, Sierra Nevada has several different regional distributors in NJ, so their beers turn up at various times around the state (or don't turn up at all in some areas- never saw any Narwhal last year, and missed Tumbler this year - so far, at least).

 

I missed Narwhal too, until a friend stumbled upon a bunch of 4-packs around April (at a random shop right liquors). Where in Jersey are you at? I've seen Tumbler in a couple of locations along the Warren/Morris border (I would have to double check that it is this years....)

 

Anchor Big Leaf Maple was released the end of August, that's when we got our 5cs of it. It's possible each distributor may have already shipped their allotment to their accounts and are out right now. I know my distributor is cautious with new seasonal beers, so they usually get just one order of it and when they're sold out it's gone for the season.
Flip Side and Narwhal aren't available yet, but are in my distributor's system so I have them on backorder so once they come in to their warehouse I'll get them at my store.

 

Flipside Red touched down today. 10 cases at BK Livingston.

Peerless has 240 total and they're already down to 30. It'll be a quick season.

 

Narwhal sightings in Central NJ?

 

Shorepoint shipped narwhal put last week not sure how many cases they had

 

Update: Narwhal definitely in stores in Central Jersey. Even saw it on tap at the Cranbury Buy Rite.

Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville had Narwhal out yesterday.

 

I got some Narwhal at Linwood Wines in Fort Lee on Friday. The salesman told them that they only got 14 cases, two of which went to Linwood. I don't know if the guy was blowing smoke or what, but this might be hard to find this year as well. Good luck!

 

I still haven't seen any from this year

 

I still have Narwhal at my store in SJ and will be getting Flip Side in 12pk bottles on Weds. The distributor is out of 6pks and only had 30cs of 12pk left and then it's gone. So this will be the last of Flip Side and Narwhal at my store.

 

Saw cases 2013 Narwhal at the Wegman's in Cherry Hill a couple weeks ago.
