I asked management of Amity Wine and Spirits in New Haven to pick me up some... They are working on purchasing a shipment of it. I let them know that Ithaca's got some stock ready for ordering. Typically, it's one of their "first-come, first-served" beers that goes really quick (>2 weeks). <----- On the waiting list...
Any idea if Decicco's can/will order kegs to sell? I know they have the bar there so obviously they can get them, but any ideas if they sell them?
How long do they hold things, I'll be in town over veterans ay weekend, would I have any hope of landing some?
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for beer from that guy, and if he does get it, don't bet on it being fresh.
I wanted to bump this thread just to let you know I found some fresh Flower Power at Amity a couple weeks ago. I wandered in there on a Monday night and they only had one 6 pack left. The beer manager told me they get really small shipments at unpredictable times and that the only way you're likely to find it is if you get lucky like I did. Not really ideal, but maybe as Ithaca ramps up in their new brewery it will become more available to us.
I've seen a couple fresh kegs at restaurants in Fairfield County over the last week. Have not seen any 6 packs.
I have seen 6pks. starting to make appearances as early as two weeks ago.Also saw some this weekend as well.Stores are getting just a couple cases at a time,so it pays to chat up a beer manager or two..... Cheers
