I will be traveling to Hongkong during 15th Sep to 18th. Would love to visit some decent brewpubs there. I heard there are not many, but really want to try how the local brewed beer like.

It's not really a brewpub, but they at least have a nice selection of HK brews: The Ale Project. I've personally been there in December 2015, and it was worth the visit. Offer flights to try more stuff. And of course some nice imports as well. It's in Mong Kok, a bit off the grid in a cozy location.

Another one is The Roundhouse Taproom , though have not checked that one.

Enjoy your trip, and maybe keep us posted !

There is Tipping Point Brewpub. I had their IPA which was drinkable. Also had a brown ale that seemed unintentionally sour. It wasn't good but maybe I'd call it kinda interesting? Its worth going mainly because there isn't much else beer wise in Hong Kong.

On Lamma Island I went to the beer garden kinda thing of Yardley Brothers Brewing. I had a saison and a brown ale. They were bad. My wife and I couldn't finish them and I almost never pour out beer.

Australian brewery Little Creatures has opened a brewpub in Kennedy Town. As mentioned, Tipping Point is central but poor beer quality. Trafalgar doesn't fare much better.

HK is bar culture so there's plenty of options for local and imported craft beer. Check out Globe, 65 Peel, Roundhouse Taproom, Little Beer Room, Brewdog, Kowloon Taproom, The Ale Project & Second Draft for some of the better selections.

The Ale Project is awesome. After dozens of trips to HK I stumbled across this place today and it has instantly became my new home away from home. Rodenbach Grand Cru on tap and a nice list of local and global offerings makes me a happy traveller. The food is great as well. I'll go back every trip. Highly recommended.
