Any good Canadian micro-breweries out there?

Sure, lets start with Unibroue.

 

Next we can add Dieu du Ciel.

 

Central City from Surrey, B.C. Red Racer IPA is one of the best I've ever had.

 

And we will follow this up with Dieu Du Ciel.

I'm not sure of the brewery as a whole, but Driftwood Fat Tug is exceptional.

I've only had one beer from Flying Monkeys but it was enough to show me they are a legit craft brewery.

 

The semantics of "micro" when used in the beer world have evolved to mean roughly the same thing as "craft."

Speaking of semantics, Unibroue is Japanese

 

I visited Nova Scotia a few years ago and found lots of gems from Canadian breweries. Garrison Imperial IPA, Propeller ESB, and was floored by a gastropub called Hart & Thistle that had some great stuff. That's not counting things like Peche Mortel and Red Racer which are known to be solid beers.
