any Lakeland, FL BA members?

    Wondering if there are any BA members here in Lakeland, FL...I'd love to attend some bottle shares but they're always in Tampa/St Pete and I'm not cool with driving home afterwards...my job depends on my drivers license.

    With Brew Hub, Brass Tap, and Lakeland Brewing opening soon (as well as Brew Pop Brewing in Auburndale) this isn't a bad spot to be for beer nerds, and none of my friends share my love for the good stuff. I do a decent amount of trading and always have some interesting stuff from outside of Florida.

    I know there's a group that does semi-regular shares at Brew Hub, but don't know any of the dudes well enough to put you into contact with them.

    I'm in Lakeland and live next door to @Beer4B, although he's not as cool or as good looking as me.

    So I've talked to a few of yall..looking forward to meeting you guys and getting in the Cycle rotation.

    Anyone else in the area? I wanted to go the the Lakeland Brewers Guild meeting last Saturday at Lakeland Brewery but I had family in town from out of state...gonna try to catch the next one. The brewery should be opening any time now...

    Brew Hub is supposedly getting a growler fill machine. A couple of us have gotten some growlers that went flat really quick. It might be a good idea to wait until they get the new growler filler. I'd hate to ship you flat beer.

    ^Were they Brew Hub growlers? If so, maybe its a seal issue? Ive had a bunch filled but none were BH glass, and I've yet to have any issues.
