I'm in SE Michigan, about 45 minutes from the border and was just wondering if it's worth crossing the border to find some great brews that we can't get here.

Not really. The LCBO/Beer Store locations near the border are pretty bad; you'd have to drive to London before you found much of interest.

Ah, the good ol' beer store... It was so cool when I was 19.

"There's a STORE called the BEER STORE?!"

A day trip to London would allow you to visit Forked River to pick up some bottles and hit Milos' for some good drafts and food. The LCBO at York & Ridout has some interesting brews too. You could hit Motor Burger/Rock Bottom in Windsor or Refined Fool in Sarnia depending on where you cross.

That sounds like a nice day off, for sure. Might have to wait til it warms up.
