ANy NoVa places that do brewery tapping's?

    Saw that abunch of places in Carolina have bars/restaurants that have breweries doing tappings (Founders) Soooo jealous. Contemplated a 7 hour road trip for one of those events.

    Anyone know of Northern Virginia/DC places that do this?

    Do you mean tap takeovers? Meaning a bunch of taps from one brewery for one night. If so Rustico does from time to time. But church key in DC does it more often. Get on twitter and follow dc beer, church key and maybe black squirrel since they seem to get some different drafts. You will get some good info there.

    Kind of like a tap take over but with limited release kegs/ bottles
    Didn't know Rustico did that. I'll keep an eye out for that

    Mad Fox Brewing in Fallls Church usually do tappings on Tuesdays with special deals for growler fillings.
