Toowoomba.... wow. I actually grew up in Toowoomba, a lovely but in many ways odd little city. I now live (and brew) about a 2 hr drive away from there. I might point a few beer loving folk I still know in the town in the direction of this thread. Otherwise options for beer is a bit limited up there. The Spotted Cow on Ruthven st is your best bet for a beer. The selection there is not what it once was but still has some good beer on tap and in bottle. Apart from that drive the 1&1/2 hrs to Brisbane where there is a huge range of beer focused bars or take the 2hr drive to where I am in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
