Wondering if PtE is available in this city. Got a buddy rolling through there hoping to find a shop that carries it randomly so i can call on it.

I've seen bottles at the Bier Stein the past, and I have to think 16 tons probably carries it as well. The problem is that typically there's only one RR delivery a month, and stores tend to run out of Pliny almost as soon as it comes in. So your best bet is to call Bier Stein and 16 tons to see when they expect to get in their next shipment. If your friend happens to roll through the day of delivery, or a day or two afterwards, he might find some. Otherwise, odds are he's going to be out of luck.

You could also call a Market of Choice or two (there are 4 of them in Eugene). Always good beer selection at those stores and maybe not the frenzied demand like at some bottle shops...

Do the market of choices even carry pliny any more? I go to the one in West Linn pretty frequently, and it's been 2 or 3 years since I last saw any pliny there. I see temptation, consecration and damnation all the time, but no pliny.

Yep, just bought PtE at West Linn MoC 2 weeks ago, as a matter of fact! (you have to ask, because they don't put it on the shelf)

The last delivery to Oregon was October 11th (give or take a day depending on the store), so your odds of finding any are slim at this point.

At least here in the Seattle area, it hits the shelves about every 4 to 5 weeks. Generally on Thursdays. If I kept track of things like that..... :sunglasses:
