I had this delicious beer last night during the fight and absolutely loved it. I'm also aware that this beer was made in very limited quantities and is very hard to find in las Vegas. But I know 1 small store that still has a few left. I loved this beer and want to buy another to put in my cellar and sit on it for maybe 6 months or a year, but I also realize it's heavy with coffee and that it might fade significantly over time. I basically feel like I should buy one because they are going to be OOS in my local area very soon. Sorry for being long winded this morning, maybe I'm a little hung over lol...

    Thoughts?

Buy it up and drink it then... They aren't super expensive, and tasty as heck.

If you have the space and room to stock up then do it! You can't go wrong with this one

I prefer it fresh. Not sure what you'll get by aging it other than less coffee.

Personal experience from aging batch #13 is that the bourbon notes come forward as the coffee notes become more subdued. It's up to you what you prefer more, coffee and alcohol burn, or smooth bourbon with coffee notes. I have enjoyed aged 18 months to fresh. My preference is aged 6 months as it mellows the burn a bit without loosing too much coffee, but you can't go wrong fresh either. Cheers!

I love this beer and still have a Batch #1 in my cellar. Maybe I will open it soon and report back.

My absolute favorite beer and I've got at least 5 different batches in my cellar from the past 2 years, although I'm not sure what I plan on doing with them. I don't think a side by side would be all that enlightening. I'd go buy it and give it a while. Maybe drink it around the time you find another batch fresh.
