I'm in town from Chicago couple of days right now with some bottles from Three Floyds and Pipeworks I'd love to open and share. Any BA activity in this area?
Not in Redding but Alehouse Pub seems to be the spot as far as craft goes. Also, Fall River tasting room is small but pretty cool, I really dig their Hexegenia IPA.
Born in Redding live in Las Vegas but all my family lives there still so I visit. Fall River is my favorite in town the new Ba Barley wine they bottled is pretty solid. Both the hexegenia and widow makers ipa and dipa are delicious. Hex has won a few awards and last time i was in they where telling me how it beat Pliny in a La ipa fest? Could be wrong but it was something like that. Also Wild card is a cool spot to hang out and if you go to eat at Bricks Roadhouse my mom is the GM and I help with the beer list remotely as much as I can haha
Thanks everyone. I travel to the area a few times a year and have been to Alehouse twice. Really cool place. I need to check out Fall River tasting room. Will try and make it out to one or both this evening.
Liquor Barn had a awesome selection of beers, that is if you're looking to buy some bottles. I lived in Anderson all my life, currently in San Diego.
I ended up going to both Fall River and the Alehouse. Good times and I'll hit up both again on my next trip. @jetpilot12 I'll be in San Diego this weekend if you're around. Just started a thread in the forum gauging interest.
