I am going to be in S Lyon and Warren (Kuhnhenn, Dragonsmead planned stops) Thurs the 18th in the evening. Any special stuff on tap that night? Barleywins, Imp Stouts, Old Ale, barrel aged anything. Big beers....?

I will also be toting along a couple boxes of trading stock. Was in MN last week so have some fresh Surly Wet, Furious, Coffee Bender.... TF Zombie Dust, Risgoop. Firestone Walker Double DBA, Sucaba, Parabola. Capital Square Dk dopplebock. I like the sort of stuff I mentioned above. I get most MI beers already -- Hoppin, Dk Horse, Founders, Bells already in the cellar but let me know what you got or what you want from Chitown.

The great thing about Kuhnhenns and Dragonmead is that even if they don't have special stuff on they still have some great stuff. People rave about Kuhnhenns Alderbaran and that's usually on. You generally cant go wrong with anything there though. Be sure the grab a DRIPA and a Todds Michigan Mud, if that's still on tap, while your there too.

Because you are going to Kuhnhenn's might I suggest you pay a visit to Chanpane's. Its a great bottle shop right around the corner.

Pennyblack in Rochester is doing a bells pairing Thursday night. Lockhart in royal oak is doing a right brain takeover Wednesday so they may have some stuff left. Its also first day of Detroit beer week

How lame is it that over half the DBW events are not in Detroit? Don't get me wrong, I like One Eyed Bettys and love Kuhnhenns, but it should be the Metro Detroit Beer Week.
