Any thoughts on the revamped 612?

I typed all the words & only needed this. I am humbled.

 

This is about the only part of your reply I'll agree with. I recall a sponsored pub crawl ending with a Twins game where a keg of Rated R (as it was called at the time) was provided gratis at Mason's. My friends and I each had maybe a third of a glass, before agreeing that the beer was awful and going over to Gluek's for better beer and a huge pretzel. One the way out I mentioned the plan to one of the organizers (locally known baseball blogger/radio personality), and that the beer was terrible. His reply? "The brewer's right there!! How can you say that?!"

 

I had their beer when I moved here 4 years ago and did not care for it then. I have been to the taproom once or twice in the past year and not found it to be anything special. Even if it has improved, there isn't any flagship or seasonal that would bring me to their taproom over Fair State, Dangerous Man or Indeed.

 

So this "mea culpa" has been just over a year old. Has anyone been to 612 and noticed an improvement? I literally don't know a single person who has been there in the past year since this article came out

 

I was there a few months ago. The beer was fine.
