Any Tips on Surviving the GABF?

I made a point of going to breweries I can't get in my state. I checked out the South and middle states especially. Have fun. DON'T GO "OOOOOHHHH!!!!" EVERY TIME SOMEONE DROPS THEIR CUP!!! Bring a cup holder if you have one (I bought one from a vendor there). Pace yourself. Di-hydrogen oxide is your friend.

 

Stay FAR away from the drunk frat boy who will inevitably use the empty Oskar Blues can necklace they give out as his own personal port-a-potty!!

 

I was there last year, I went to all 4 session's it was too much. Do not go to the Saturday night session, it's a big drunk fest, most vender's run out of beer. Falling Rock Tap is a must!!!! Have a list of beer's you want to try. Download the GABF app.

Drink water... Dont go to a bar afterwards, meet a millionair who buys you pints of deviant dales (about5-6). Couldnt even make dinner. Whole evening, post saturday noon event, ruined.

 

Oh an skip cigar city table. Everyone goes for Huna... and typically runs out in a few minutes. Find some gems at the small brewery tables.

 

Water, Gatorade, don't skip meals, and pretzels. In that order. This has gotten me through 5 Dark Lord days and 4 Great tastes of the midwest. Last year at FOBAB I neglected this strategy. Let's just say the next day was the probably the worst I've ever felt after a night of drinking haha.

 

Falling Rock is where its at, whether its GABF or not. I was there Monday night for the opening night and killed a few Plineys, but this is the goto bar anytime in Denver. Place rocks!
