What's going on? Lots of new ones as I understand. Gonna be fun trying all the new liquids!

Pipeworks is brewing. In fact, they are bottling their first batches today. Don't know when they will open for sales though.

Rolling Meadows down near Springfield just sent out bottles to the local spots a couple of weeks ago. I've only tried their brown ale brewed with maple, but it was outstanding and I hope they expand beyond the three offerings they have now.

Someone named a brewery near Springfield after a town in Cook County?

There is also Obed's and Isaac's Microbrewery and Eatery in Springfield, I believe it's near Lincoln's home.

Nope, a town in Cook county named themselves after what still exists in this part of the state!

Heh! But don't discount the far north, lotta them meadows up this way too (contrary to what our friends across the Cheddar Curtain might say)!

Sure wish they'd allow non-facebookies to see the info -- can you tell him we're interested?

Yeah they're all good.. the beet sugar in the brown ale adds a good note to it. Check out the Springfield Wheat. Its a solid Hefe.

RM is also in the process of barrel aging the brown ale. I can't wait to try it.

McHenry County needs one at least as well, crossovert. I'd like to see several nanos out here. Doubt there's the market right now for that many.... but I can dream!
