Crazy how many experimental hops are out there. Just perusing through Yakima valley's website and really wanna try out 2014 Lemonnaughty.

    Smells like lemonade?!!!??

So many different crazy sounding hops.

Which one(s) have you wild and wacky homebrewers tried out and what were your impressions??

My favorite 'new' hop is Equinox. I recently brewed an Equinox IPA and I really, really like this hop; it has a complex set of flavors. I recently posted about this beer in a New Beer Sunday post: http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/new-beer-sunday-week-558.349949/#post-4201670

The next experimental hop I hope to brew with is HBC-438. I really liked the beer that was brewed with this hop and given out at the 2015 NHC; the beer was brewed by Russian River: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/863/177486/

    Cheers!

My previously favorite experimental hops have real names now.

I will be brewing with ADHA-529 soon.

    Current AA__10.6%

Lemon and coconut aroma mixed with hints of mint and tea.

    Beta: 4%
    Co-Humulone 24%
    Total Oil 1.8%
    Myrcene 40% of total oil

I'm intrigued by the possibility of coconut from hops.

I made an IPA last week using Magnum for bittering and Orbit hops for flavor and aroma. Initial thoughts are I smell a nice lime and tropical fruits. Will update later, but I think I like it much.
