Anyone else ordered a shirt from Hoppy Monk?

I was in El Paso on work and had a great time and loved Hoppy Monk. So, December 22, I ordered a shirt from their web page. They very efficiently charged my credit card. However, I have never received so much as an email confirmation, let alone the actual shirt.

Last Saturday, I emailed them, and again, never heard anything and I still don't have the shirt.

Anyone else had the same problem? Other than telling my credit card it was a rip off and reverse the charges, any suggestions?

    Thanks for any advice.

    Have you tried calling them?

I would guess that whoever handles fulfillment for their store is/was gone for the holidays. I would give it another week then give them a call.

I'll take both of your advice. Another week or so, then I'll google the phone number. My credit card bill hasn't even been sent yet, so there's time to work it out.

    Thanks for the tips.

It's January 11. The holidays are long over, so I don't really see how this could be an issue. Possible, but seems unlikely.

I'd call them tomorrow. Why wait a week? Their # is (915) 307-3263

Mostly just figured that if they took part/all of last week off they may only just be getting to fulfilling and/or shipping orders. A week may be enough time for it to work itself out and I'm a lazy bugger who hates calling businesses.

Right? I hate using the phone at all. I pretty much only talk to my mother. Plus, I forgot they are brick and mortar, and I'm used to Amazon etc, where even if you find a phone number. Well, I can't stop laughing at my situation.

Old school. Pick up the phone and talk to an actual person.

"Hey, I ordered some stuff online from you 4 weeks ago....where is my shit?"

And....you would get an answer in less than 5 min.

Thought I would update everyone. On the 11th, I emailed them through their web page. Nothing. On the 14th, I sent them snail mail. Nothing. Today, I called. When I called, I was told to call back, no one could deal with it. I filed a contest on my credit card.

Too bad, it was a nice looking shirt.

Go to their facebook page and ask them. You are much more likely to get an answer on social media when you call someone out than by email/phone at this point.

Can't hurt. Hell, write a yelp review. I bet you get a free shirt before long.

Oh, and you may have to call the EP one as I am guessing they do most of that stuff from there since it was the first one (I really have no idea though).

Thanks for your advice aschwab. I have always been dealing with El Paso.

To their credit, and to update and be fair, they did email me in response to the yelp I posted earlier today.

Shocked. As soon as they see it in public, they get concerned. Hopefully they are taking care of you.

I believe all will be made well. J is a great fellow and took full, personal responsibility for the miscues.
