Anyone find themselves keeping an eye out for empty shipping boxes?

No, though once you start trading, boxes pile up/come to you. It's only the start up that looks like this.

 

I just use the ones fedex has. They are free and sturdy.

 

I find myself looking for slightly used boxes that throw the shippers off the scent of beer:

Absolutely, I recently visited a friend who moved in to a new place, and she has soooo many boxes sitting around, so I told her I was taking half of them.

 

I tend to use new boxes I can get from work so my problem is being over-run with boxes from trades coming in.

I seem to have started trading more recently and have gotten into the habit of putting aside boxes at work and bringing them home. My boss laughs knowingly every time he sees me leaving with them.

Yeah, I get boxes and packing materials from work. I tend to over-collect and then have to recycle old boxes. But I like having a wide variety of sizes available when I need them.

 

I have been getting boxes from a friend's business to use in future trades. My wife claims my once nice and neat garage now looks like junk yard.
