....tried any Pyramid brews yet? I know they're only draft right now but I can't really get to the bars right now so I am waiting on the bottles and wondering how they are. Cheers!
One time I went back to MI to visit the family, I picked up Thunderhead IPA and Haywire Hefeweize. I have to say, some of the worst beer I've ever had. Rivaling Shock Top / Blue Moon beers.
years ago, like way back in the late 80's / early 90's, their Apricot beer was something that my friends and I enjoyed, and it pre-dated Magic Hat #9 by many years. I don't know anything about what they are up to today. Try it and if you like it, there you go. You don't need someone elsew to tell you if something is good.
Had their hefe once while out in Seattle, and I didn't see anything to write home about. Pretty much the definition of average. I can't speak for their other beers.
