Anyone going to Oktoberfest?

    I'm in Germany now and was planning on going to Oktoberfest. Anyone else going? Recommendations? Prayers? Can anyone recommend a place to to stay that can accommodate several people?

    I'll be there 21-24Sep.... I don't have links, but you can try the googles to find A&O Hostels, or check out airbnb.com. I also hear there is a tent city, either at the old Riem airport or near the zoo? Uncertain on the location...

    Probably better off looking a bit further out for accommodation, the city places get booked up fast and the prices are a joke, even for crappy places.

    It's worth a try once or twice for a beer lover to say they went. For big fans, once or twice is enough to teach us the secrets and make it more enjoyable. :slight_smile:

    We will be doing the Cannstatter Volksfest in Bad Cannstatt (Stuttgart) again this year. It's not overrun with drunk tourists like Oktoberfest.
