Have they brought anything around to beer fests or anything? I'm mostly curious because I've been thinking it would bee cool to help a local brewpub start up, and lo and behold, I found one on Kickstarter. I remember seeing in Philly Beer Scene that they're opening in Yardley this fall. I wouldn't pledge thousands of dollars or anything but I find myself oddly enthralled with their snifters and that railroad spike bottle opener.

Buuuuut of course I don't want to support them if their beer stinks and/or they're jerks. What's the word?

I haven't yet but I know they were at both the Washington Crossing Brewfest back in May and the Yardley Beer Fest a few weeks ago.

I was curious about this too. It seems like they have plenty of money to get this place open, and are probably just using the kickstarter as a way to drum up some local support/fans/patrons.

So... is the product worth it? We have a few brew-pubs in Buffalo that make bank (pun intended), but fail to deliver a quality product.

I sincerely hope that Vault makes some solid beers. It would be nice to have a local hang-out when I head home for the holidays, and to have something that is little closer than Issac Newtons.

I like their concept, at least. Throwback pizza and jazz club. Sounds pretty cool. I went for it. I mean $40 is a deal on a stainless steel growler itself. Hope for the best!

Can't wait to hit up Vault with a few friends tomorrow night. It's always great to have a new hangout spot in the area, especially one that has live jazz.

Stopped in last night. The place itself is very, very nice, both on the inside and out. Very unique setting, especially walking in through the metal door. Only had two of the brews, and this is where I think the place needs real work. Both the IPA and ESB were average at best, with both having a very watery, thin mouthfeel. I also tried a sample of the Irish dry stout and even that tasted watery and thin as well, which was surprising as it was served on nitro. I didn't try the food but the pizzas did look pretty good.

Overall this place could become something really cool if they refine their current beer offerings and possibly have one or two more off the wall styles. I'll definitely be back once they tap their imperial stout in November, but I don't see my friends and I coming back any time soon for a brew.

Hey Chroma - Thanks for checking us out. Sorry to hear that you weren't a fan of the beer you tried. Would you be interested in coming back in sometime and I can offer you the ones you didn't sample? I'd hate to lose a customer over a poor experience with the product. Feel free to contact me at james (at) vaultbrewing.com if you want to get in touch. Cheers - James

Thanks James - no customer lost here, I will definitely come back to sample the brews I didn't have along with any new ones that are on tap. Like I said before, you guys have an excellent and unique venue, and while the ipa and esb may not have wowed someone on the beer advocate forums, but I can easily see someone who isn't too familiar with the particular style falling in love with what you guys are offering. Best of luck - its awesome how there are so many new options in the Lower Bucks area now!
