Wondering if it's worth swinging over for? Thanks!

It was on tap at the Mayor's 1st year anniversary. Pretty good beer. I would say its worth the trip up to try it.

Just tried it and wasn't too impressed by it.

The Monarch Imperial Saison currently available in the taproom was absolutely awesome though. Can't believe they don't sell growlers 'cause I definitely wanted to be able to bring some home.

Just had it this past weekend at the tap room. Was extremely impressed by it, my new favorite "regular" release from them. I wish they'd package it in 12oz, or growlers as expressed above.

I also had the Ron Burgundy which was very good as well.

I went to the taproom hoping to be able to buy a growler of the Ron Burgundy. I really enjoyed that beer too.

Bastogne was on tap at Hops and Pie, as well as, Ron Burgundy and both were delicious, although I have to say I really enjoyed the Ron Burgundy over the Bastogne.

i tried it on tap at FW over the weekend and wasn't too impressed. honestly didn't get too much brett and seemed a little boring. may have to give it another shot.

Have not had the Bastogne, but as others have pointed out, the Ron Burgundy is damn good. I also quite like the Belgian Stout.

    Those were my thoughts too.

I actually went back to Funkwerks over the weekend intending to give it a second go but couldn't get myself to order anything other than more Monarch, which I am in love with. While there, I was also disappointed to discover that they had just finished the last of their Ron Burgundy and replaced it with (what I would have to assume) is a new batch of Dark Prophet, a beer that didn't quite do it for me last year when I tried it. I think I will have to give it a second shot soon though.

Anyone tried Scepter yet? Cognac barrel aged golden ale, hit shelves a few days ago

I enjoyed Scepter, some apricot in the taste with a tad oak. Finishing with a slight burn. Also liked both Bastogne and Monarch, with monarch edging out Bastogne right now. But I picked up some Bastogne bottles because I think it'll be great once the Brett comes out a bit more.

Was at Funkwerks earlier and got to try the Scepter on tap. Definitely liked it and allowing it to warm up for a couple minutes really opened things up. Ended up buying a bottle of it too. Also agree that Monarch is the better of the two.

Also gave Bastogne a second chance. I did enjoy it more this time around but still only lukewarm towards it. Still didn't quite nice the Brett in it.

They also have another brew available there in bottles and on tap, Deceit. Described as a Belgina Trippel and Golden Ale mix and that is very apt. Resembles a lighter body and highly drinkable Belgian Tripple via the addition of some lemongrass and a thinner, crisp mouthfeel.
