A Wednesday opening is a perfect way to work out the kinks in the operation before the weekend rush. Makes perfect sense. Better to have 20-30 patrons waiting than 200.

 

Maybe, didn't think of that, def need to visit there, taking forever for me to just browse the beer page of available beers on their site, which is a good thing!! Also, they have Lagunitas Undercover Shutdown available it says, didn't know that hit yet

 

I'll definitely be checking this place out. So is the idea that you can bring any food you like, or are you supposed to order only from their "participating restaurant partners" (which I gather means they get a % of the bill?)

Nachos: They say the beer list is "representative" of what they carry, so I don't think that means they necessarily will have everything on the list.

 

Would be very cool to be able to bring in your own food, though I get the feeling it is only allowed through participating restaurants they work with.

 

Interesting, looks like they are also opening one in Cleveland.

 

That's the impression I get, too. "...customers can order food from a list of preferred restaurants in the area and have it delivered to them as they enjoy a beer or glass of wine." (article) I'll be more likely to buy and consume my food at one of the places next door, then walk over to this joint and have some quality brews. But it'll be interesting to see what restaurant options they offer, how reasonable the prices are, and of course how quickly they deliver.

 

Sounds like a nice place, maybe I will stop buy this week.

 

Unfortunately thursday is my busy day, 9-9. I guess friday would be the day for me, I still have to see if i can round up some friends to go down.

 

im just waiting to see a taplist of some sort, i would assume the grand opening list should be pretty good

 

I'm up for a friendly get-to-know-fellow-BA's as well. I tend to work past 7 on weeknights -- a late night or weekend gathering would be cool, whether at this place, Firkin, Ram, or anything in between.

 

To this I say: w00t! In other words, I agree.

 

Cool. How about a BA invasion of this place next week? Any weeknight, 7pm or later...
