Anything Happening in Grand Rapids this weekend?

    Family trip to GR this weekend. Staying at the Amway Grand and was wondering if anything special was happening this weekend.

    This weekend is the Michigan Brewers Guild Festival in Ypsilanti so I suspect there will be nothing special going on at any of the GR breweries. A tap take-over at a good beer bar may be your only hope.

    There are so many good breweries in the area there is always something good going on. Just sitting at Hopcat qualifies as something good going on.

    Thanks for the replies. Thought maybe the breweries would throw something on for all the folks who couldnt get tickets to the Summer Beer Fest. Will definately have to have some Crack Fries again. Only had em once after a long night of drinking/waiting in the KBS line years ago.
