I'll be staying in Belvidere,IL for a week or so. Looking for any good local beer stores. Doesn't anyone have any recommendations?

There is a Woodman's about 9 miles away. If it's anything like the Woodman's near me in the burbs it will have a gigantic variety of beers, including craft stuff. Totally worth the sub 20-mile round trip.

Yeah, you're just going to have to go into Rockford. Belvidere is a depressing hell hole but HEY! they have an Applebees!

Artale Wine Company in Rockford is worth a stop at, about 2 to 3 minutes away from Woodmans

No problem, Tuscan Sun Wine & Spirits in Hampshire is pretty good too. Southeast of Belvidere by about 20min or so.

I guess if you're out that way, you could check out Cademon Brewing in Genoa. Their saison is pretty tasty.

I'd suggest rolling to the Woodmans in Beloit, WI..they'll have ton of New Glarus products, if that's something you're interested in. It's about a half hour drive north on highway 39. The Woodmans in Rockford wouldn't have New Glarus as they dont distribute outside of Wisconsin.

As mentioned , go west to Rockford and Woodman's over the cheddar curtain is good.
