Gonna be back in FL for a while...wondered if there was anything epic (or even semi-interesting) going on at CCB or Pegs...had a great time both places for Huna weekend, was thinking of taking the wife...but we're on the east side so it's a bit of a drive just to go...

I haven't heard of anything but I am not in as much of the know as the locals are. Where in FL you gonna be?

We'll be near St. Augustine, so CCB and pegs are quite a drive, but far less than coming from home near St. Louis. LOL

You're best bet would be to go to growler tuesday at noon and get a growler, they dont announce until about a half hour or so before so it would be calculated risk but they generally release really good brews, treatment thursday can be good if they tap stuff (I dont think they did one last week but I could be wrong) thats good. They still do firkins on saturdays but theres no way of knowing what it is unless you go there. Hope this helped

What dates are you here? Berliner Bash is the 20th at Pegs if you like FloridaWeisse (yep, I support the name) then it is a can't miss event, last year's was by far one of the best events I have been to. Now if you don't like FloridaWeisse (Whattt??) then it will definitely not be your thing, but I always feel that any day at Pegs or CCB (or 7vnth Sun) is pretty epic and way more then semi-interesting. However, I do get that St. Augustine is a bit of a trek. Enjoy your stay.

Mile Marker in St Augustine is pretty cool and a lot closer.

I've been to mile marker. Had a good time, probably will go back. It was EMPTY when we were there on a saturday, but still had a good time.

Anything nice for "treatment thursday" at CCB today? I am driving in from Orlando this evening and plan on swinging by. Do they have any food there?

Rock on. This is my first visit. I have to pick my fiance up at the airport at 10pm so I'll be there for 7pm for sure.

Food? No one mentions it in the reviews either way. Thanks!!

I love kickbacks...drove down the street to intuition and bold city...they look like complete shit holes that aren't open to the public....do they have other locations or is that really it?

Did you even go inside Intuition or are you basing your expectations on external appearance? Intuition's taproom is actually very nice on the inside and they typically have 15+ beers on tap at any given time. They also have quite a decent sized bar in the brewery area as well.

No I didn't go inside, as I said neither looked like they were even open to the public. No signs, no indication of anything other than something industrial going on. The two locations just up from kickbacks are their actual taproom public locations then? May have to give them another look as I really like intuitions stuff...

JW berliners will be there. The lineup is guaranteed to be a little better than semi-interesting. Heck, maybe even epic.
