New Bohemia has BA9000, BA Cherry stout, Oracle, Harry Mcgills, and more. $3 for 5oz pours, pretty good deal going on and it's empty.

BA 9000 at New Bohemia tonight. It's a partial Bell's tap takeover.

Might have to check New Bohemia out on Friday, first time hearing about it. If they still have those beers on that will be a big plus.

They have a solid beer list even without the Bells special taps. Worth the trip.

    Chipotle still next to it?

Yes. I left NB at about 10:30 and the bartender said that the BA9000 was still about 50% full so they should definitely still have some around lunch time tomorrow.

BA9000 and a gourmet Wurst is a solid lunch plan if you ask me.

The other notable Bells taps are

    Black Note
    Cherry Stout
    Sparkling Ale
    Magill's Spiced Stout
    The Oracle

I was there last weekend. Solid taps and very good wursts. Was blindsided by the fries, however, probably some of the best I have had. My only gripe was I asked for the Hoppy Flight and received the Holiday Flight but didn't notice until I finished my first pour. This was a simple mis-communication as this place is very loud (think 89.3 The Current cranked to 11). The Holiday Flight was a bit out of my comfort zone but I could see how some BA folks would like it. The Holiday Flight as of last Saturday December 8th - Ayinger Celebrator Dopplebock, Breckenridge Christmas Ale, Odell Isolation Ale (the only on I really enjoyed) and Avery Old Jubilation. Cannot wait to go back and hope to god at some point they add Surly. I could see myself becoming a regular here next summer.

Stopped at New Bohemia today over lunch -- this place is insanely cool -- amazing taps, their wursts were to die for (I went with the rattlesnake rabbit jalapeno and a side of fries!) -- management was outstanding. This place is on my very short list. They're also talking about maybe allowing bottle shares on a dedicated night during the week -- to my knowledge, there isn't any place in the Cities that does this.

Keep an eye on these guys, if they can continue to put on top tier taps, put out amazing food and respond to the hopes and dreams of us beer nerds for a place to open bottles together (and of course, order their food and drink their beer to offset the lost profits to them of us bringing a bottle of our cellar stuff to open) -- this place will be a home run.

    Impressed.

Thanks, we are trying. It's a great spot with a simple concept: great beer and delicious sausages...without a complicated set up. Come in, drink, order at the bar or at the cashier stand, and sit anywhere...
I am the current beer buyer there, so any suggestions are welcome. CAP.

Any idea if they would charge a "corkage fee" for the bottle shares? If not, awesome.
If so, I would think you could do this at a lot of places which allow the same thing for wines.

It sounds like they are still very much ironing out the details -- but when I asked that question, I got a resounding "no." Though they mentioned capping the # of bottles that can be brought in to 1-bomber per person... These folks are top notch and the bar manager is a west coast beer guy...this type of structure is common on the west coast, not so much here -- they definitely seem focused on making this a destination craft beer spot, and I haven't seen any place like it.

I've seen corkage fees on wine at nicer restaurants, but have never heard of being able to host a tasting at a beer bar and pay a corkage fee for the privilege, has anyone else on here? This is sort of the BYOB concept you see in Chicago and other bigger cities...haven't seen this in the Cities...
