I have a relative who will be visiting next week. Im pretty sure its a long shot but is there anything I should ask for? I'd be happy with some treats from Real Ale, I don't know what else gets distro'd out there, and I think cans would travel easier for this nonbeer drinker to pack. Anyways.

Our of the Texas breweries, you are likely only to get real ale, st Arnold's, and maybe some southern star. It really is not a beer mecca and I cannot recommend places to get it (I haven't been there in years but go to neighboring west Texas places).

Oh I've visited and its definitely not the center of the universe for many things! Like I said tho I'd be happy with some Hans Pils or even Firemans 4 for old times sake!

You could try the Albertsons at 1002 Andrews Hwy. I was stuck there for 2 days on business and the beer and wine guy was able to hook me up with some Saint Arnolds 3 years ago. I'd imagine they have Real Ale by now there.
