Looks like I'm going to linger here for a while so I was wondering about distributon scene in the
area. Might pick up some Lucky Bucket IPA... still have some non local stuff including Kern River 5th Anniversary if there are any traders in the area... although judging from the one store I was at people here don't have much to trade.

Where are you going to be? Just the Kearney area? There's quite a lot in Lincoln and Omaha but there isn't much out there besides Thunderhead--though I am only in the Kearney every once and a while so I can't speak for it all that well. If you can drive 120 miles to Lincoln, you'd be in much, much better luck for some good beers. And if you can make it to Omaha, let's do some trading

Don't trade with Dbossman, you'll wake up in a bath tub full of ice missing a kidney and all of your beer.

But seriously, David^^ is right, not a whole lot going on out there. You must cruise through Lincoln or Omaha to find some tradeworthy brews.

Thunderhead is awesome. Growlers are cheap ($7 refill i think). The Scottish Ale is my favorite, it is borderline porter so don't expect a 60 shilling.

Boogaarts Food Store (east side of 2nd ave between the interstate and thunderhead has the best bottle selection that I've found in town. Don't get your hopes up, but in a pinch it should satisfy. In April I found Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey there, but then a week ago they didn't have any.

I'm not sure how or where you are traveling from but http://www.loopbrewingcompany.com/ is also "out there".
