Making an APA this weekend. I'm using British Golden promise as my base grain and have Bairds light Carastan and Belgian biscuit malts to add. Any ideas on the small percentages of the Carastan and biscuit malts I should add? Using Centennial hops as my bittering and Citra as my aroma / flavoring hops.

    Thanks for any advise.

Are you trying to emulate a commercial example? Do you have a preference towards drier or more crystal forward?

    Drier:
    0% Carastan
    6-8% Biscuit

    More crystal-y, swap them.

    drier?
    80% 2 row
    5% crystal 40l
    5% flaked wheat
    3% flaked barley
    7 percent munich

It usually finishes under 1.010. i mash at 148.
