if you are in the fresno area, ApCal is having their beerfest on May 9th. $35 pre-sale and $45 at the door. DD's $10. Pretty good list of breweries that will be on hand.

I've been to a few of the local festivals (Suds in the City, Tower Oktoberfest, Clovis Brew Fest, etc) and been mostly underwhelmed. The local breweries usually bring something interesting, but it seems like the out-of-towners are just pouring stuff I could grab off the shelf at a typical store.
