So, we all know Dieu de Ciel makes great beer. Which of these two stouts do you prefer?

depends if I want to catch a buzz or not:wink: nothing like drinking Peche late at night and trying to sleep afterwards:confused:

Peche hands down, but the enough booze to close one eye and an enough caffeine to open the other.

    Aphro < Peche
    BA Aphro > BA Peche

Both beers > almost every other Canadian stout.

May be sacrilegious to mention, but a blend of the two is also delicious...

I'll buck the trend... I'm a sucker for the sweeter dessert-like stouts so Aphrodisiaque does it for me. Still have no idea how they pack so much flavour into 6.5%. It's definitely a staple in my fridge.

See, that's what I find funny... people keep saying Aphro is sweet, but I honestly find Peche MUCH sweeter. Aphro, for me, manages to pack a lot of flavor in while staying very balanced. Maybe it's just the types of flavor involved that immediately invoke the idea of "sweet".

    As for OP...

I've only had Aphro once and can't really remember anything about it but I'll never forget the first time I had Peche, so I'll have to go with Peche on this one.

    I disagree.

Oskar Blues Old Chubb is great. It's good on Nitro, but not great. Better without nitro imo.
