Aphrodisiaque vs. Peche Mortel

    woah woah woah....
    IPAs on nitro are stoopid (and 1 brewery released some on nitro last year. silly). but a stout or porter or - what if?? - a quad on nitro?

    Had Ruination on nitro once it sucked. Dry as a popcorn fart:astonished: and tasteless.

    Peche, no question. Aphro (Heh Afro) just didn't do it for me at all.

    Someone should really make Afrodisiaque

    I'll give nitro another try, but up till now I have always avoided it. I'm always pissed that at Barvolo aphrodisiac and Peche are only on nitro.

    Both are served on a blend of gases served through creamer tap rarely on straight nitro.

    Last week I had both Aphrodisiaque and Peche Mortel. The two were very, very enjoyable.

    Peche is very coffee forward to the point where I find it dominates and makes the beer one dimensional.

    Aphro has more subtle flavours and I find it more complex.

    Both great beers - but to my surprise I think I prefer Aphro.

    I'm drinking a Peche as I write this :-)

    I really enjoy both of these and got a few of each in my cellar. I would normally grab an Aphrodisiaque as it goes down real good. Peche Mortel is very intense and I like to savor it more than the Aphrodisiaque. I guess it depends on if I want to sip or drink a beer fast.
