I was recently in Las Vegas and had several Apocalypse IPA's on tap at the Westgate Casino. I thought the beer was excellent. The problem is that I live in Pennsylvania and Apocalypse is not sold on the East Coast. Can anyone that has had Apocalypse recommend an IPA that is sold in PA that tastes like Apocalypse?

    Thanks!!

Well, since 10 Barrel doesn’t list the hop bill on their website or Untappd (or anywhere else that I could find), the flavor profile is hard to discern.

You will discover plenty of people on the Left Coast who have had it...but finding someone who knows PA IPA’s and has had Apocalypse will be a daunting challenge.

Listed as 6.8% ABV and 70 IBU, the commercial description:
"A Northwest American-Style IPA. The color comes through as a deep gold with orange hues. Fruity and citrusy hop aroma shines, with hints of pine resin. The four hop flavor dominates, re-enforcing the aroma with more citrus, fruity and piney notes. The malt character is clean and smooth with a unique toasted flavor (thanks to the generous helping of Victory malt), all held together by a firm bitterness. Apocalypse has a medium-bodied mouth feel, finishing crisp and dry. All of this results in a very drinkable IPA."

@nsroots - have you ever had Bell's Two Hearted Ale? That is an easy to find beer that I think is similar to how this description sounds.

No problem, Let me know what you think once you try it.

I've drank quite a bit of Two Hearted over the years, but obviously I am only going by the description of the 10 Barrel beer.
