For those that were asking, he also posted elsewhere that it'll be treated as a normal growler fill, so if you have a growler already, go ahead and bring it - otherwise it's $4 for a growler. Apparently it's also very limited, so don't plan on getting any.

I don't think everyone needs to get all crazy for this one. I was just playing with my 17 growlers comment. I completely forgot I posted that last night until someone asked me about it just now. I just don't think there is a need to get there crazy early. Also, there is that whole open container law. Hunahpu was a differ story as that was more of a festival set-up.

come on down, if you get a growler, great, if you don't, well too bad but at least you can still hang out and donate some cash to a worthy cause.

What do you take issue with from that post? The math is most certainly correct, and we are under the impression that there are 2 barrels that will tapped for growlers fills. Perhaps those 2 are for the growlers and snifter fills, and then maybe there is something like 160 growlers fills and 234x 12 oz snifter fills.

I don't think Geiger was taking issue... I think he merely meant to point out that there will be very few growlers, not questioning your math.

Reading between the lines, we must assume that they either are not using both barrels on Sunday, or that most of it will be on tap, not for growler fills.

Like he said, it's meant to be for a charity, not a beer release.

Gunhaver works there? That's cool. Even cooler would be some concrete information!

I'm willing to drive the 4 hours each way to get the beer, and I'm certainly willing to accept some chance I don't get any. But, it would be nice to have the information so as to make an informed decision.

I got a couple of Cuc Saison today from a buddy that was there. I dont think Im going to drive the 2 hrs there then, not be able to get a growler or 2 (wife) then not have a chance to get near the bar for a snifter. Too bad CCB has gotten so well known now that almost anytime you go its packed. Ahhh for the good old days of being one of maybe 10 peeps in the place. Oh well.

Well I will not be attending!!!!

She told me not to quote her but.......

I just confirmed that we'll have 30 growlers pre-filled to anticipate the crowd. I do suggest you get here early or right when we open at 11am because I'm sure they're going to go fast (and [don't quote me but] we may only have about 50+ growlers total available from what I heard from one of the bartenders...)

Hope this helps and Take care!

I just talked to ccb. It is 15 gallons total. 1/4 gallon growlers. 1 per person. I just called the tasting room and asked. Not worth it.

So 60 growlers then? Or does that include the stuff going on tap?

Wow. To drive 6 hours total and not get one would be disappointing to say the least. Probably better I'm not going. Good luck to all that make the trip.

The people who get the growlers should really just drink them. This was on tap at DLD and was nothing short of amazing. But, I'm sure that won't happen.

if it is true that they are only 16oz growlers then, yes, I agree.
