Apple Brandy Bomb!?

Yes, please!!!

 

I think apple brandy is the only Bomb flavor I haven't had besides the deconstructed series. Hopeful I can land a bottle next release.

 

Wow, AB Noir is one of my two favorites from them, along with Pirate BOMB. An AB BOMB sounds amazing.

 

Sorry to burst your excitement but I believe that will just be AB Noir. Currently all of the barrels at Prairie say Bomb! even if they are for the Noir series. Not sure why that is, but it was noticed by a Prairie Dawg member at a recent barrel tasting at Prairie.

 

Wonder if you mixed equal measures of each of the Deconstructed Bombs whether it would be Reconstructed Bomb?

 

I've never had Noir. Is it just Bomb, without spices?

 

I would venture to guess any new barrel aged beers, such as Brandy Bomb would be for members only or brewery only (BA Bomb was brewery only this year), compounded by the fact we haven't seen AB Noir in some time (due to AB barrel shortage perhaps?).

 

AB Noir is the best. Probably just edging out Vanilla Noir. Great beer. Can’t wait.

Only if it's part of the name. Like Vanilla Noir obviously has vanilla in it.

I should have realized this, but I expected Pirate Noir to have coconut in it, and was disappointed when it didn't.

 

Still surprisingly excellent with some age on it, not so good fresh.

Hoping to get my hands/lips on some AB Bomb, one of theirs I haven't had.

 

If I had to fathom a guess, it is because Bomb & Noir are the exact same base stout. Typically BA spiced stouts have the base barrel aged first. Spices are not added until late in the barrel aging process, close to bottling. Effectively all the noirs and bombs are exactly the same until the adjuncts are added thus the same labeling.

 

Yeah, it wasn't what I was expected, but was still great. I probably should have held onto it for awhile though.

 

I tried the chocolate and vanilla deconstructed Bomb. They were great - possibly better than the original. I didn't sample the other two.

 

I had Deconstructed Vanilla Bomb several weeks ago and thought it was too sweet and didn't have the complexity of the regular Bomb!.

 

I'd read some pretty mixed reviews between the two and opted to skip the deconstructed bomb event. Figure it'd be a shit show with high abv beers, in a small place.

There is still a place around here filling up growlers with the coffee version. Seeing as coffee beers are some of my favorites, I'm tempted to go get a 32oz filled up!

 

Sounds awesome.... it is too bad that Prairie is not carried in my state.
