    Holy Fucking Christ-on-a-Crucifix.

Have any of you had this? Easily the best imperial stout produced by the newer generation of British brewers, and one which could compete within the style anywhere around the world. Outrageously delicious.

No but a mate did and was bigging it up.

Where have you seen it on ?

He had it at the Old Fountain, but that's a little out of the way for me.

Just found out the local shop in Cardiff does them, reserved a couple post haste!

Cheers for the tip off too.

Is it coffee forward? Not really into chocolate and coffee in beers unless its just a hint of said flavours.

Extremely so. You're probably better off staying away from it.

Pity, I do like an imperial stout and enjoyed all the pale Moor beers and dark Arbor beers I've encountered.

If you see one of Arbors straight from the fv pale ales, try it, they're absolutely gorgeous. Didn't much like their oyster stout or that freestyle fridays one with the figs though.
